Bis zum Ende des Jahres sollen laut Sony 21 Spiele für die PlayStation3 in den USA verfügbar sein. Konkrete Veröffentlichungsdaten blieb das Unternehmen allerdings schuldig. Die drei First Party Games (Genji: Days of the Blade, NBA 07 und Resistance: Fall of Man) sollen für knapp 60 US-Dollar im Handel landen. Auch die meisten Spiele von Drittherstellern werden voraussichtlich zu diesem Preis den Besitzer wechseln.

Folgende Titel sollen frischgebackene PS3 Besitzer bis zum Jahreswechsel in den Vereinigten Staaten zur Auswahl haben:
